Anonymous asked: Thoughts on God/religion?

I was raised and still am Catholic. I believe in God, but I have a problem with certain aspects of the Bible and what religion preaches, specifically on homosexuality. I believe everyone should be treated equally. And I also have a problem when, at times, religion is used to oppress or “other” people from the general population because they don’t fit the mold of the majority. 

I’m open to learning about all religions and don’t feel that one is superior to the other because who am I to question someone else’s higher being or religion from my own.
